The SFP 2.5G ZX 1550nm 80km transceiver consists of the below sections: the LD driver, the limiting amplifier, the digital diagnostic monitor, the 1550nm DFB laser and the APD photo-detector. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.

This 2.5G SFP transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with HPE networking equipment for SONET/SDH (POS), optical networking and ATM applications. It is an ideal equivalent to HPE JD087A OC-48/STM-16 single mode long reach (LR-2) SFP optical module at a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP optics solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in data network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
