This FIBERTOP SFP-SM31T5-10DC transceiver is high performance, cost effective modules supporting data rate of 25.78Gbps and 10km transmission distance with SMF.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit.
All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement and SFF-8472 digital diagnostics functions.
Additional product features include Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support which allows access to real-time operating parameters.

Q:For 25G module, can we preconfigure the module to operate in 10G mode ? Setting in register A2 ( bits 110.3 and 118.3) need to be persistent.
So when the module comes up in customer switch after power up, they do not have to do anything. [ They actually need 25G in one direction and 10G in other direction]
A:According to the protocol CDR shutdown function is a power-down reset type of variable control, every time you power on the working module is the default open 25G CDR, such as shutdown requires software control.
