This Adtran® 2.5GBASE-SX SFP 2.5G module is suitable for 2.5Gb/s serial optical data communications application, such as SDH STM-16 I-16/SONET OC-48 SR-1/2x Fibre Channel. It provides 300m transmission distance over multimode fiber at a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The module is programmed and tested to works with a wide range of Adtran switches and routers. It performs identically to Adtran part number 1200482G1, allowing it to be an ideally equivalent to original transceivers.
