The FiberTop 10G CSFP+ (Compact Small Form Factor Pluggable), also known as Compact SFP+, is a compact-sized module with two channels within the same structural dimensions as a standard SFP+.

Each channel supports independent single-fiber bidirectional transmission and is equipped with two LC optical connectors. The series operates at a rate of 10Gbps per channel and finds wide applications in 10GBASE-LR/LW, 10G Fibre Channel, and similar networks. It utilizes the same wavelengths as the 10G SFP+ BIDI 10km module, pairing 1270nm and 1330nm.

   

Application Scenarios:

FiberTop CSFP+ modules are primarily used for point-to-point connections from Central Offices/Aggregation Sites to Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). By doubling the port density at the Central Office/Aggregation Site while reducing the number of ports used, CSFP+ modules contribute to decreased power consumption at the central location. It is important to note that CSFP+ modules require equipment and line cards that support the CSFP interface, as ordinary devices can only test the first channel of the CSFP+ module.
