This is a high performance and cost effective small form factor pluggable (SFP) Bi-directional transceiver for 1000BASE-EX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It is fully comply with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment.
The 1000BASE-BX SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with Juniper Compatible 1310nmTX/1550nmRX 40km SFP Transceiver networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to Juniper EX-SFP-GE40KT13R15 1000BASE-BX40-U SFP Optics Module but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
The SFP 1.25G BIDI optics provide 40km high-speed data links using a single strand of fiber, which can upgrade transmission capacity very convenient without installing new fibers. The SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
